Prison was life-changing for Gypsy Rose Blanchard in more ways than one.
The 32-year-old—who served seven years behind bars for the 2015 murder of her mom Clauddine "Dee Dee" Blanchard—said she learned a lot about her sexuality during her incarceration.
"A big part of womanhood is learning to become comfortable with our sexuality," she shared on the June 10 episode of Lifetime's Gypsy Rose: Life After Lock Up, "and for years, I wasn't."
In fact, Gypsy admittedly spent a large part of her life questioning her sexuality. Though she was "attracted to girls" during her teenage years, the Mommy Dead and Dearest subject said she rarely got a chance to act on those feelings until after being locked up. As she put it, "I got to experiment with that in prison. I think I've kissed more girls than I have guys."
But since there "is a rule against masturbation in prison," Gypsy said she didn't have much of a sex drive while behind bars. It wasn't until she was released in December that she started leaning into her sensuality.
"So, I'm discovering things about myself," Gypsy continued, cheekily sharing with a laugh, "I'm a freak!"
Elsewhere in the episode, Gypsy credited her now-estranged husband Ryan Anderson for helping her feel comfortable in her own skin, especially during sex.
"I'm self-conscious because I have scars all over my body," she said. "And so I'm like, 'Am I going to be what he wants me to be? Am I attractive to him?'"
Gypsy added, "And he's like, 'It's OK.'"
So, who is Gypsy dating these days? Keep reading for a timeline of her life after lock-up.
After being released from prison on Dec. 28, Gypsy Rose Blanchard snapped her first Instagram selfie.
Gypsy and then-husband Ryan Anderson shared a glimpse into their new era together.

"A New Years Eve Eve kiss with my hubby."
Gypsy also ended 2023 with an Instagram selfie.
Gypsy and Ryan walked their first red carpet at the premiere of her Lifetime docuseries The Prison Confessions of Gypsy Rose Blanchard.

In late March 2024, three months after her prison release, Gypsy shared that she and Ryan broke up.
"People have been asking what is going on in my life," she wrote in a statement on her private Facebook page, according to People. "Unfortunately my husband and I are going through a separation and I moved in with my parents home down the bayou."
Gypsy underwent a rhinopasty and septoplasty (nose job) April 5, 2024. Her physical transformation will be documented on Lifetime's Gypsy Rose: Life After Lock Up.
Gypsy filed for divorce from Ryan on April 8, 2024, according to court documents obtained by TMZ. The filing came nearly two years after their July 2022 prison wedding.
In late April 2024, weeks after filing for divorce, Gypsy announced she got back together with ex-fiancé Ken Urker. The following month, she made their rekindled romance social media official by sharing a video montage of their romantic moments on TikTok.
In her video, Gypsy described her love story with Ken as "legendary."
And when a fan, using her own past comments about ex Ryan, took the oppotunity to ask her in the comments a NSFW question about Ken, Gypsy responded quickly and candidly.
Gypsy tried her first In-N-Out Burger, a Double-Double burger served animal-style. She rated it a 7.
