In order to make her dream come true, she makes a deal with a sea witch, Ursula (Melissa McCarthy), and journeys to the surface aided by her friends Flounder (Jacob Tremblay) the fish, Sebastian (Daveed Diggs) the crab and Scuttle (Awkwafina) the seagull.
Rob Marshall directed the film, which features Alan Menken's original songs as well as new songs from Lin Manuel-Miranda.
